I am currently a master's student in computer science at Stanford University. My expected graduation date is June 2009. I am specializing in distributed systems and have taken classes in distributed systems, distributed databases, and networking.
I recently interned at Microsoft at their Silicon Valley office. I worked on a team that developed "community" features for the live.com site. My specific project dealt with developing the qna.live.com site.
Before coming to Stanford I worked as a software development engineer for Amazon.com. I worked on a team of 9 engineers that developed a large tier 1 service for the website.
I earned my bachelor's degree in computer engineering at Brigham Young University from June 2000 to April 2006 and graduated summa cum laude. I studied digital architecture, embedded systems, and FPGAs.
